Interview Advice
The interview is the most crucial part of the job search process. It is the time that you and the company both decide if a partnership together would work. The interview is your time to present all of your abilities; and, you usually get only one chance at a first impression.
The interview should not be a question and answer session, but a comfortable conversation where you are presenting your background, skills and strengths in a thoughtful manner. Your focus should be on “selling yourself” to the interviewer. Any opportunity you have to speak in the interview is a selling opportunity. It is also the perfect time for you to demonstrate your interest in the position and your knowledge of the company.
